Lightweight Wireless FPS Mice: Razer Viper V4 Pro vs Logitech G PRO X Superlight 2

How weight, sensor, and polling rate compare between two popular wireless esports mice, and what actually matters when you choose.

For shooters, many players prefer a light wireless mouse: less mass to start and stop, and no cable dragging across the pad. The Razer Viper V4 Pro and the Logitech G PRO X Superlight 2 are two of the most common names in that space. Here is how they compare on paper.

What actually matters

Weight. The Viper V4 Pro is about 11 g lighter. Whether that is noticeable depends on your grip and sensitivity; players who make big, fast arm movements often care more about weight than players who aim mostly with the wrist.

Shape and grip. Razer describes the Viper V4 Pro as a right-handed, symmetrical shape optimized for claw and fingertip grips. Shape and fit usually matter more than any number in the table, so if you can, compare the dimensions on each product page with a mouse you already like.

DPI. Both sensors go far beyond the DPI settings most players actually use. The maximum is a headline number; it should rarely be the deciding factor between these two.

Polling rate. Both support up to 8000 Hz. A higher polling rate means more frequent position reports to your PC; it also asks more of your system, so it is worth checking how your PC handles it.

Which one fits you

Both are high-end wireless mice with very similar headline specs. If you are undecided, choose by shape and weight first, then by software and brand preference.
